Android TV & Google TV Device / App-Availability Hub
This is the independently-published device and app-availability reference the vendor
surfaces omit. Its differentiator is freshness you can see per item:
every device entry is designed to carry a machine-emitted
“last verified” stamp (mapping to the tier-1 data layer's
last_verified field), advanced only on a successful deterministic refresh
and left unchanged — visibly stale, never broken — when a refresh fails.
This is the direct Gap 3 differentiator against the reference-directory competitor,
which signals freshness only at the section/footer level and exposes no per-item
“last updated” timestamps.
GROUNDED-IN: deliverables/atv-4 §Page-type 2 (per-device “last verified”
timestamp as the Gap 3 differentiator) and deliverables/atv-3 §2 (fail-silent-safe
dated “last verified” stamps).
Example Android TV Device (placeholder)
Last verified:
— ASSUMPTION: this date is a hand-authored placeholder,
NOT yet read from the tier-1 cron's last_verified field. It will be
replaced by the machine-emitted stamp from the live data layer at request time.
- Availability
- ASSUMPTION (placeholder) — the real availability boolean is a tier-1 structured field pulled deterministically by the cron; not yet wired.
- Current version
- ASSUMPTION (placeholder) — version string is a tier-1 field (deliverables/atv-3 §1: “app availability, versions, prices”); not yet wired.
- Price
- ASSUMPTION (placeholder) — price is a tier-1 field; not yet wired.
- Certification (Netflix / Prime Video, Dolby Vision / Atmos, AV1)
- ASSUMPTION (placeholder) — certification-tracking category is drawn from the androidtv-guide.com reference shape (deliverables/atv-4 §Page-type 2); the concrete per-device certification data is not yet wired to a source.
Scaffold note (ASSUMPTION register): the device roster, category taxonomy, datastore product, cron cadence, and data sources for this hub are all unresolved in the atv-3/atv-4 sources and marked ASSUMPTION above; they are fixed by the build mission, not invented here. Nothing on this page claims freshness superiority over competitors that already date content (atv-1 Non-gaps A/B); the grounded edge is per-item, machine-emitted, machine-verifiable “last verified” dating.
