Its differentiator is freshness you can see per item: every device entry is designed to carry a machine-emitted last verified” stamp (mapping to the tier-1 data layer's last_verified field), advanced only on a successful deterministic refresh and left unchanged — visibly stale, never broken — when a refresh fails. This is the direct Gap 3 differentiator against the reference-directory competitor, which signals freshness only at the section/footer level and exposes no per-item “last updated” timestamps.
